The Pony World Series - U12 USA Champions

Playing on a national stage was an honor for 13 boys from Santa Monica. A cadre of elite players from West Los Angeles gathered to win the district, regional, and zonal championships to be one of 4 U.S. teams to join 4 international teams for the World Title.

The boys defeated Florida in the first round of the double elimination tournament. Alex pitched three innings in relief to seal the victory. Two days later Florida and California would meet again with the winner taking the U.S. Title. Alex started on the mound and pitched 5 innings of shutout baseball leading the team to the victory.

The team finished the tournament with a 26 - 2 record.
